I personnaly find this desition very questionable. Of course they should change some thinks, but they seem to change a lot and they already said in an Interview that they do not really want to use the Fantasy setting and historically setting of Spellforce 1/2, that they will only use that if it is impossible to be avoided (example would be the formers and sentinent dragons). What I'm saying is not that this will be a bad game, but that the developers might take to much out of SP and leave only the names of important places, gods and of course the name of the game to regocnize that it is supposed to be SP3. But right now I'm fearing it will be stronghold when it comes to the graphics and units, totall war when it comes to the figthing and some kind of economies simulation for the ressources.īut nothing I have seen yet makes it a I would make a Star craft 3 that would be a side scrolling action RPG about humanitys struggle before they were starting going to space (so no zergs and no protos), would you like that? I would still be canon lore about the Starcraft universe and it could be an awesome game, but would it be Star craft 3? Would another Title like "Star craft: Legacy of humans", or something similiar that indicates: yes this is part of star craft, but no this is not the 3rd part of our RTS, be better? What we have seen until now really is somewhat questionable in my eyes and I just hope that it will be still good.
#Starcraft 2 arcade game project haven classes how to
Cash Cow? I still suggest to sit down and think how to make the best game with the interesting features. Honestly I do not know why they are doing this(very strange). Opinion about SF3 from "RPG Codex Report" Īs I said earlier, SpellForce 3 is a project of low-ambitions. Who know maybe this game will take 10 points from a reputable magazines. Where are the passive skills? And why not? Only 3 active skills that you can choose. All strategic process( carts, outpost system) is not pleasant only to me. Now you will never be able to manage employees as you want, but you assign them only to buildings. You do not have time or money to make the clear magic schools? Then just leave it for future DLC. Look to the Titan Quest or GrimDawn, Neverwinter Nights, Sacred and others RPG game. There you can not find a clear ice mage or fire mage, illusionist and etc, all are combined into one.

Magic schools are combined in one structure, as we can see "Black" or "Elemental". Symbiosis with other? How is it possible I have not seen. For example - Frost and Fire, or Lightning and Frost - for killing an usual mob, but not the boss. Make the combo system for each class individually. What kind of nonsense? Crowds of game classes are going to attack the main boss in World of Warcraft, and a speech can't be about kill from the first impact. You must change your weapon and weapon, skills in your party then to kill a monster from the first impact (damn how it is boring and long). Actually as a result we get a more stripped-down skill system than SF2 has. Such interesting solutions as to distribute your points to blacksmithing skill or to possession of armor( heavy, lightweight, leather) or possession of any weapon types will be missing in this new and interesting game. All is pretty corny, you distribute stat points then skill points, movement down without interesting choices and thinking what is better. It is not complex and not interesting system of developing your character. What? Sounds like arcade game for my smartphone because there is only hot skills as new Sacred has. You can own any weapon without skills of this weapon, armor. I personally did not expect that they have predatory intentions on fighting speed. I have not seen this in the best RTS for all time. (They slow down the fighting speed and implement the delays before the next kick ) such method is not inherent in real-time strategy. Types of damage are copied from the Age of Empires or Pillars of Eternity( old school rpg with tactical pause) and this is not only one the such thing. But there is no delight and no respect from authoritative games publications. It is a dirt-cheap project from the early beginning and it was silly to expect something Terrific, something to what everyone will say - "wooow, it is great !!! ". Now I find it funny, all cards have been disclosed (RPG/RTS).
